Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G internationally, starting with India. The new phone offers several improvements over the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
Brighter Display, Larger Battery
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G boasts a significantly brighter display, reaching a peak brightness of 3000 nits, compared to the 1800 nits of its predecessor. Battery capacity also gets an upgrade, with a 5500mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery replacing the 5100mAh battery in the older model.
Performance and Camera Upgrades
While charging speed drops to 45W from 67W, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G features a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and an upgraded Sony LYT-600 primary camera. The front-facing camera also gets a refresh with a 20MP OmniVision OV20B sensor.
Pricing and Availability
In India, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G starts at INR 24,999 (~$295) for the 8GB/128GB model, with the 256GB version costing INR 2,000 (~$24) more. Available colors include Ivy Green, Phantom Purple, and Titan Black.
