The Samsung Galaxy A56, a mid-range smartphone expected in early 2025, has had its potential specifications and price leaked. This comes following the launch of the Galaxy A55 in March.
Display and Design
According to the leak from @TheGalox_ on X, the Galaxy A56 will feature a Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. While the exact panel size isn't specified, it's expected to be similar to the Galaxy A55's 6.6-inch display. Leaked renders also suggest a new camera module design, a premium build with an aluminum frame, and a glass back.
Camera
The phone is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Notably, the selfie camera is expected to be a 12MP sensor, a downgrade from the 32MP sensor on the Galaxy A55.
Performance and Battery
The Galaxy A56 is said to be powered by the Exynos 1580 processor, built on a 4nm process and featuring ARMv9 CPU cores for improved performance. It is also expected to come in configurations with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. The battery is expected to be a 5,000mAh unit with 45W fast charging support, a boost from the 25W charging on the A55.
Expected Pricing
The leaked price is £439, which roughly translates to USD $550.
