Samsung has previewed its new high-end laptops, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 14 and Galaxy Book5 Pro 16, powered by Intel's Lunar Lake processors. Initially revealed in South Korea, a global launch is expected early next year.
Thinner, Lighter Design
Building on the success of the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, Samsung aims to make the new Galaxy Book5 Pro models thinner and lighter. While not officially confirmed, this is a key differentiator Samsung is highlighting.
Key Features
Both the 14-inch and 16-inch versions will feature:
- AMOLED displays with anti-reflective coating
- Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) – likely Core Ultra 7 256V or 258V
- Up to 25 hours of battery life
Images of the 16-inch model reveal:
- A dedicated number pad
- An off-center trackpad
- A 3.5mm headphone jack
- MicroSD card reader
- Full-sized HDMI port
- Two USB-C ports
- One USB-A port
Release Dates
The Galaxy Book5 Pro will launch in South Korea on January 2nd, 2025. A global release date has yet to be announced.
