The ShadPS4 PlayStation 4 emulator has made significant strides, now capable of at least booting most major PlayStation 4 exclusives.
As highlighted in a BrutalSam video, the emulator can run several PS4 exclusives, including Gravity Rush Remastered, reasonably well. While some games still experience performance issues and visual glitches, the ability to boot them at all is remarkable.
Bloodborne Takes Center Stage
The star of the show is Bloodborne, which seems to have been a major focus for the developers. The game now runs very well on the emulator, a huge improvement from only a few months ago when simply getting in-game was difficult.
Community Mods Enhance Bloodborne
With Bloodborne running so well on ShadPS4, the community has released mods, notably the Remaster project by fromsoftserve, which enhance the game's visuals with features that wouldn't be out of place in an official remaster.
Despite high demand, an official Bloodborne remaster is still not on the horizon.
