Fans of the Tales of series can rejoice! According to series producer Yusuke Tomizawa, Bandai Namco plans to release remastered entries from the series consistently moving forward.
During the Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Project event, Tomizawa revealed that a dedicated "Remastered Project" development line has been created to support this consistent release plan. This is good news for fans, as it means older titles in the series, beyond the upcoming Tales of Graces f Remastered, will likely become available on modern platforms relatively quickly. Many of these older titles are currently exclusive to older consoles.
The next few weeks are looking promising for Tales of fans. Not only is Tales of Graces f Remastered launching on PC and consoles next month, but a dedicated team called Life Bottle Production is also releasing an English translation patch for Tales of Rebirth, a 2D title originally released on PlayStation 2. This fan-made translation patch will be available later today.
The most recent title in the series is Tales of Arise, which launched back in 2021 on PC and consoles.
