Tesla Boosts Model 3 Referral Bonus by 50%

Tesla increases the Model 3 referral discount by 50% to $1,500 and loyalty discount to $1,500 until the end of the quarter.

Tesla is ending the year strong by increasing the referral discount for the Model 3 by 50%. This move aims to boost sales in the final quarter of the year.

Tesla Boosts Model 3 Referral Bonus by 50%

Tesla recently doubled referral payouts for the Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck, offering a $2,000 discount and a $1,000 payout for the referrer. However, the discount for the best-selling Model Y and Model 3 remained at $1,000.

Now, Tesla has increased the referral discount for the Model 3 to $1,500, but only if the buyer takes delivery by the end of the quarter. This is in addition to other incentives like APR financing, free Supercharging, or a free FSD trial.

Tesla is also increasing the loyalty discount for the Model 3 from $1,000 to $1,500, if a customer buys another Tesla vehicle.

Tesla advertises the Model 3 as starting below $30,000 or a $299/month lease, but this is after factoring in tax credits, fuel savings, and other discounts. With this increased referral bonus, a referral link from an existing owner is now worth $500 more, at least for Model 3 purchases.
