Embark Studios has announced that Season 5 of THE FINALS will arrive on December 12th, bringing a wealth of new content and features, including a new map, gadgets, weapons, social clubs, and PlayStation 4 support.
New Map: Bernal
Season 5 introduces the mountainside town of Bernal, featuring historic cobblestone streets and a vibrant colonial plaza. Players can explore the destructible environment, uncovering secrets and battling opponents amidst the changing landscape.
Social Clubs
A new social system called Clubs, inspired by real sports teams, will allow players to connect, collaborate, and compete. Club Contracts offer team challenges to earn XP and fans, while Team-Up Requests help players find teammates for their preferred game modes.
New Weapons and Gadgets
Season 5 introduces new weapons like the ShAK-12 and Cerberus 12GA, as well as new gadgets such as the Gravity Vortex and Lockbolt Launcher, expanding the tactical options for different character classes.
New Sponsors and Platform Support
Fan-favorite sponsor ISEUL-T returns, joined by two new sponsors, DISSUN and VAIYA. The biggest news for console players is that THE FINALS will launch on PlayStation 4 for the first time.
Performance Enhancements
In addition to new content, Season 5 includes balancing adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and support for 120Hz mode on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X, enhancing the gameplay experience.
