The Game Awards 2024 is just around the corner, and the hype is building! Bloomberg's Jason Schreier has teased at least two major announcements that will leave viewers stunned.
Speaking on the Kinda Funny videocast, Schreier hinted at the scale of these reveals:
"...I know about a couple of announcements that'll be there, and they would qualify as big announcements... I think there's a good chance that you'll see one or two teaser trailers for a game that is like 2026 or even later..."
"...there are at least two things that will make you guys reacting be like holy [ __ ], like, I can't believe this thing is here. At least two things, I'll say that."
Schreier compared the announcements to reveals like Quantic Dream's Star Wars: Eclipse and Monolith's Wonder Woman – big games still years away. However, he confirmed on Reddit that a Bloodborne sequel or remaster is *not* among the surprises.
Confirmed trailers for Mafia: The Old Country and Borderlands 4 are also expected. The Game Awards 2024 pre-show starts at 4:30 PM Pacific Time on December 12th.
