Virtuix has introduced the Omni One Core, an omnidirectional treadmill for VR headsets, enabling full 360-degree movement in virtual reality.

Virtuix, a company specializing in omnidirectional treadmills for VR, has unveiled its latest model: the Omni One Core. Designed for PC gamers, the Omni One Core allows for natural movement within virtual reality, enhancing immersion.

The Omni One Core is a compact system that includes the treadmill, foot trackers, specialized shoes, and a Bluetooth dongle. It supports 360-degree movement, enabling a more immersive VR experience.

The system requires a Bluetooth-compatible VR headset and integrates with SteamVR games, emulating movement input using a dedicated application. The treadmill is designed for easy assembly and portability.

For safety, the Omni One Core includes a support vest and a sturdy aluminum frame. The Omni One Core is priced at $2595. A premium version, the Omni One, which includes a standalone VR headset and controllers, is available for $3495.
