ASUS Announces 1000W Invisible Power Connector for Graphics Cards

ASUS has introduced a new solution under the BTF (Back-To-Front) standard, aimed at building PCs with minimal visible wiring. The new GC-HPWR power connector will be located directly on the motherboard, allowing even high-end, power-hungry graphics cards to be connected without the risk of cable melting. BTF 2.0: Delivering 1000W to the GPU The BTF 2.0 standard used by ASUS can deliver up to 1000W of power to the GPU, compared to 600W in the first revision. To achieve these levels, ASUS uses heavy copper - thicker contact elements that allow for high power transfer with low resistance and temperature. This approach aims to provide reliable power to even the most demanding graphics cards.
