My Arcade has released a new teaser for the Atari Gamestation Go, a retro gaming handheld developed in collaboration with Atari SA. This new video provides a closer look at the device's unique design.
The Gamestation Go features a combination of standard gaming handheld controls, including ABXY buttons and an analog stick, along with some interesting additions:
- Numeric keypad
- Trackball
These additions are intended for games requiring more than the traditional buttons and analog sticks. The previously reported feature of lighting only the buttons needed for a given game hints at versatile use cases for more than just classic Atari titles.
While My Arcade hasn't revealed the full specifications yet, the previously released Gamestation Pro included over 200 built-in games. The Gamestation Go also features a microSD card reader for expanding the game library. Other ports include HDMI, a headphone jack, and two USB-C ports.
More details about the Atari Gamestation Go are expected to be revealed at CES 2025.
