This collaboration will allow players on the Ultimate and Performance tiers to enjoy mods seamlessly across their gaming sessions.
Cross-Platform Mod Support on GeForce NOW
Baldur's Gate 3 already embraced cross-platform mod support via mod.io. Now, this is extended to GeForce NOW, addressing a significant hurdle for cloud gaming – the ability to retain mods between different sessions. GeForce NOW users on the Ultimate and Performance tiers can now download mods directly through the in-game menu, which will then be enabled for each login.
Alternatively, players can subscribe to mods on mod.io to load them automatically when launching the game on GeForce NOW. Initially, support will focus on mods curated for consoles. NVIDIA has confirmed plans for expanded support for PC mods in the future.
