It's not often that the work of amateur developers catches the attention of industry experts, but there are exceptions. Recently, Thomas Morgan from Digital Foundry decided to test a fan-made PC version of Bloodborne, and he was impressed with the results. ShadPS4 Emulator: A Promising Start The PC port of Bloodborne runs through the ShadPS4 emulator. While acknowledged as being somewhat "raw," Morgan was generally pleased with its performance. He used build 0.5.1 by diegolix29, finding it the most stable for his test rig (AMD Ryzen 7 5700X and GeForce RTX 4080). He did make some important adjustments: Used ShadPS4 0.5.1 build by diegolix29, Installed the Vertex Explosion Fix mod (resolves polygon issues but limits character customization). Played the game at 1152p resolution for stable frame rates.
