GeForce NOW Adds AAA Games & Steam Deck Full Support & VR Support Coming

GeForce NOW announces support for Avowed and DOOM: The Dark Ages, plus native apps for Steam Deck, Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, and more at CES 2025.

NVIDIA's GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform was a key focus at CES 2025, with exciting announcements including the addition of highly anticipated games and expanded device support.

New Games on GeForce NOW

Two major titles are coming to GeForce NOW:

  • Avowed: The action RPG from Obsidian, set in the Eora world, will be available on February 18.
  • DOOM: The Dark Ages: The new first-person shooter from id Software will support path tracing and DLSS 4 (GeForce NOW supports DLSS 3 for Ultimate tier users at launch).

Expanding Device Support

GeForce NOW will soon be available on more devices, including:

  • Steam Deck: A native app will be released later this year (a beta installation method was available before).
  • VR and MR Devices: Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Apple Vision Pro, and Pico headsets can access GeForce NOW via a browser starting later this month.

Global Expansion

NVIDIA is also expanding the reach of GeForce NOW:

  • India: A new RTX 4080-powered data center will launch later in 2025.
