The Intel Arc B570 "Battlemage" GPU has appeared in the Geekbench OpenCL database ahead of its official launch on January 15th. Benchmark results show the card is roughly 12% slower than the Arc B580 but is expected to come with a 12% lower price tag.
Geekbench Performance
The Intel Arc B570 scored 86716 points in Geekbench's OpenCL test. This is approximately 12% slower compared to the Arc B580, which typically scores between 95,000 and 100,000. For example, comparing to a recent B580 score of 98343, the B570 is about 12% slower.
Key Specifications
The Geekbench listing also revealed some key specs for the Arc B570:
- 144 Compute Units
- Up to 2.75 GHz boost clock (2.5 GHz base clock)
- 10 GB GDDR6 memory on a 160-bit bus
- Same 272 mm2 BMG-G21 die as the Arc B580 (but with cut-down specs)
Pricing and Availability
The Intel Arc B570 will launch for $219 for the limited edition version. Custom designs from Intel's board partners will be priced higher. The Intel Arc B580 may still seem like a better value. It remains to be seen how this card performs in games.
