An insider source, Digital Chat Station, has revealed details about the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, including its expected release date and a key improvement over the base model. Additionally, information about the first smartphones that will use this chip has also surfaced.
Dimensity 9400+ Key Upgrades
According to the leak, the primary upgrade in the "plus" version of the Dimensity 9400 is an increase in the clock speed of the main Cortex-X925 core. It's reported to jump from 3.62 GHz to 3.7 GHz. All other specifications are expected to remain the same as the standard Dimensity 9400.
Release Date
The leaked information suggests that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ is slated for a release in March of this year.
First Smartphones to Feature Dimensity 9400+
Two unnamed manufacturers are reportedly preparing to launch smartphones powered by the Dimensity 9400+:
- The first is described as a relatively small and lightweight device, featuring a periscope camera module and a flat display.
- The second device will be a larger, "all-purpose phone" with a flat screen and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Speculation suggests these devices could be the vivo X200S and OPPO Find X8S.
