Project Zero X: A Refinement of a Concept

MSI Project Zero X is an updated version of the 2023 concept, MSI Project Zero. The company aims to maximize the aesthetic appeal of desktop computers. The new model features a transparent case on all four sides, including the top.

Unique Motherboard and Cable Management

MSI is using a custom motherboard with an unconventional design for component connection. Based on available images, only two visible cables are connected to the graphics card and liquid cooling system, with the rest completely hidden from view.

Rear-Mounted Ports

All I/O ports are located on the back of the motherboard, and the graphics card ports are directed toward the bottom of the case. Instead, MSI has included three DisplayPort and two HDMI ports on the rear panel, along with three Thunderbolt 4 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
