The Nothing Phone (1), the company's debut smartphone, has officially started receiving the Nothing OS 3.0 update, based on Android 15. This update brings a host of new features and improvements to the device.
Nothing OS 3.0 and Android 15
Nothing OS 3.0 is the latest custom skin from the company, built on the Android 15 operating system. The Nothing Phone (1), which launched in 2022 with Android 12, is receiving its likely final major Android update with this release, as it was promised three OS updates.
New Features and Enhancements
In addition to all the new features introduced by Android 15, Nothing OS 3.0 brings some unique additions:
- Shared Widgets: A new feature that allows users to share widgets with family and friends.
- AI Enhancements: Various AI-driven improvements for a better user experience.

- New app drawer style

Update Rollout and CMF Phone (1)
The Android 15 update is also rolling out to the company's budget device, the CMF Phone (1). The updates are being released in a staggered manner, so it may take time for all users to receive them.
