Tech blogger Zack Nelson has put the OnePlus 13 and 13R smartphones through his signature durability tests. This test explores how the $300 price difference affects the build quality and overall resistance of the more affordable model, the OnePlus 13R. The results turned out to be quite unexpected. Scratch Test First, Nelson tested the screens of both devices. The pricier OnePlus 13 features a "ceramic" glass, while the 13R is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7. However, the scratch test revealed that both devices performed similarly. Scratches appeared after being scratched with a #6 hardness pick, much like most other smartphones.
