Oppo is reportedly expanding its Find X8 series with a new compact model, the Find X8 Mini. Leaked specifications suggest that the Mini will retain many of the flagship features of its larger siblings while offering a more pocketable form factor.
Compact Design and Display
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the Find X8 Mini will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. This smaller display size would make it a more compact option compared to other flagship smartphones, similar to the Vivo X200 Mini, which is currently only available in China.
Camera and Performance
The leaked specifications also point towards a Sony IMX9 series primary camera sensor, suggesting potential changes compared to the 50MP Sony LYT-700 used in the standard Find X8. However, the phone is expected to retain the 50MP periscope zoom camera. The Find X8 Mini is rumored to be powered by the flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance.
Other notable features include wireless charging support, a metal frame, and a glass back, providing a premium build quality.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra
Oppo is also expected to launch a high-end Find X8 Ultra model. However, Oppo has yet to release official details regarding any new Find X8 models. Thus, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt.
