realme has announced the global launch date for the realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ smartphones, showcasing their unique features, including a color-changing back panel and advanced camera technology.
The presentation will take place in India on January 16th. The main highlight of the new devices is the rear panel, which changes color in response to temperature shifts. Developed in collaboration with Scandinavian design studio Valeur, the Pearl White variant shifts from white to blue. Other color options include gray, with additional purple and pink versions for the Indian market.
Other notable features include ultra-thin 1.6mm bezels around a 1.5K curved display (42° curvature). realme also confirmed the camera specifications for the realme 14 Pro+:

realme claims that the smartphone features the industry's first periscope lens with three reflections, enhancing low-light sensitivity and image quality.
The camera module includes a MagicGlow triple flash with adjustable color temperature. realme compared the smartphone's camera to a DSLR, emphasizing its advanced photo processing algorithms like Advanced AI Ultra Clarity 2.0 (reducing blur with telephoto), AI HyperRAW (enhancing HDR), and AI Snap (for moving subjects).
