The upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, anticipated as Nvidia's most powerful gaming GPU, is facing performance challenges in Cyberpunk 2077 when maxed out with full Path Tracing enabled. Leaked benchmark results indicate the GPU struggles to maintain a smooth frame rate at 4K resolution without relying on DLSS and Frame Generation. RTX 5090 Performance with DLSS and Frame Generation With DLSS set to "Performance" mode and 4x Frame Generation enabled, the RTX 5090 can achieve impressive frame rates in Cyberpunk 2077, reaching up to 290 FPS at 4K/ultra settings with max ray tracing.
