Samsung has unveiled its 2025 monitor lineup at CES, featuring the new Odyssey OLED G6 and OLED G8 gaming monitors, as well as updated Smart Monitor and ViewFinity models. These new displays bring AI capabilities, enhanced gaming performance, and improved productivity features.
Odyssey OLED Gaming Monitors: Industry Firsts
The 2025 Odyssey OLED lineup includes two models that set new benchmarks:
- Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF): The world's first 27-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor. It boasts 165 PPI and a 240Hz refresh rate, offering incredible detail and smooth gameplay.
- Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF): The first-ever OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate on its QHD (2,560 x 1,440) screen. It also features a 0.03ms (GTG) response time.
Both models support AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro and are NVIDIA G-Sync™ Compatible, as well as VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, ensuring rich darks and reduced glare with OLED Glare Free screens.
Smart Monitor M9: AI-Powered Entertainment and Efficiency
The Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) is the first monitor to integrate on-device AI:
- AI Picture Optimizer: Analyzes input signals to determine content type and automatically adjusts display settings.
- 4K AI Upscaling Pro: Uses AI and neural networks to enhance lower-resolution content to 4K quality.
The M9 features a 32-inch 4K OLED screen, VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400, and a built-in 4K camera.
ViewFinity S8: Maximized Productivity and Creativity
The 37-inch ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) is the largest 16:9 4K monitor to date, designed to maximize productivity and efficiency. It also offers:
