The rumored Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has surfaced online via leaked renders, giving us our first look at what could be one of Samsung's thinnest flagship smartphones. While design similarities to other Galaxy S25 models are apparent, the main draw of the Slim will be its incredibly thin profile.
Design and Dimensions
The Galaxy S25 Slim shares design elements with the standard Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus, featuring vertically aligned camera modules, a hole-punch front camera, and a flat display. The key difference lies in its thickness; the S25 Slim is expected to be just 6.4mm thin (8.2mm with the camera module), a significant reduction compared to its siblings.
Potential Tradeoffs
This reduction in thickness will likely have an impact on other aspects of the device. The battery capacity is rumored to be between 3,000 and 4,000 mAh. The smaller chassis might also mean a less robust cooling system, potentially impacting sustained performance when using the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Screen Size and Pricing
Based on the dimensions (159mm length, 76mm width), the S25 Slim is expected to feature a screen size of around 6.7 to 6.8 inches, similar to the Galaxy S25 Plus. While the launch date and price remain a mystery, the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to be more expensive than the S25 Plus.
