WEROCK, a German company specializing in industrial-grade computer technology, has announced two new rugged portable PCs designed for field service professionals in various industries. These laptops feature robust builds that are resistant to harsh operating conditions.
Rockbook X540 G3 and X550 G3: Key Features
Both models are equipped with touch-enabled IPS displays with Full HD resolution. The main difference lies in their screen sizes:
- Rockbook X540 G3: 14-inch display
- Rockbook X550 G3: 15.6-inch display
Depending on the configuration, these laptops come with:
- Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H processors
- Up to 64 GB of RAM
- Up to 2 TB of SSD storage
Durability and Ruggedness
The laptop casings are certified with IP65 and MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. WEROCK claims both models can withstand drops from a height of 1.2 meters and operate under relative humidity up to 95% at temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 °C. Another notable feature is the use of dual batteries (56 + 14.4 Wh) with hot-swappable functionality.

The laptops offer a variety of connectivity options and additional features:
