Efficiency and Smart Layout
A power supply is really the heart of any LAN PC. It is what everybody else depends upon. Without a proper power supply, even the fastest CPU or GPU will be rendered useless. Considering the growing power requirements of modern hardware, Redragon has offered the RGPS series in three versions: 850W, 750W, and 650W.
The RGPS-850W boasts 80 Plus Gold certification for energy efficiency. Testing has certified the power conversion efficiency at the high side of the efficiency range, achieving an impressive 88.93% at maximum load.
Constructed in the standard ATX form factor (16 x 15 x 8.6 cm), a key feature is its modular cable design. Unlike budget PSUs with fixed cable harnesses, the RGPS-850W has detachable cables. Thus, you can connect only those cables that you need. This leads to less clutter inside your PC case, better airflow, and probably better looks as well for those that love a clean build.
It does not provide for the latest 12VHPWR and 12V-2x6 power connectors. However, this is easily solved by using readily available adapters.

Value for Money
The Redragon RGPS-850W, in my opinion, is great value for money at around $114.99. Many 80 Plus Gold rated PSUs have similar specs but are from more established brands and are therefore pricier. Without questioning either the efficiency rating or reliability, at such a price, with literally heavy wattage, quiet operation, and modular cables, the RGPS-850W definitely makes for strong support for a powerful gaming PC build.
