For the PC aficionado who wants both silence and effective cooling, Antec has just introduced a new member to their FLUX family: the FLUX SE. This new case is not just about getting your parts running smoothly; it's going to do it all and do it quietly while doing it.
Sound Dampening Meets Stylish Design
Antec is emphasizing the FLUX SE's noise-reduction focus. If you've had it with loud fans overwriting your game sound or work focus, this case is there to assist. But function is not all – the FLUX SE also includes a dash of sophistication with what appears to be dark wood trim, providing it with a stylish and distinctive touch.
Smart Airflow for Peak Performance
True to the name FLUX, this case is optimized for maximum airflow. Antec has used a multi-way cooling system. This includes:
- Wide air intakes along the bottom and PSU shroud section to draw in cold air.
- Vent ports at the front and top to provide efficient heat exhaustion.
To make it an even cooler system right out of the box, Antec has included a total of five PWM fans:
- Three 120mm fans already installed in the front for intake.
- A single 120mm P12 Reverse fan (with reverse blades) at the top, designed specifically to blow direct airflow to the GPU.
- A 140mm fan at the rear to exhaust hot air from the case.
Design and Key Features
The FLUX SE integrates functional aspects into design elements:
- The front panel features a metal mesh for moderate airflow, with wood inserts for style.
- Side panels have sound-dampening foam designed to minimize the noise that gets out of the case.
Price and Availability
Antec FLUX SE is entering the market with a price tag of around 115 euros.
