Were you unable to catch the latest NACON Connect? There were lots of exciting reveals and updates for some really awesome games. If you have a soft spot for cybernetic cops, sneaky goblins, or cosmic horror, you are in for a treat.
RoboCop: Rogue City — More Justice Is Coming
First, buckle up to go back to Detroit. Following the resounding success of RoboCop: Rogue City, Teyon is giving us a standalone expansion. Prepare for RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, coming this summer.
This time you are heading up the Omni Tower, currently overrun with elite mercenaries. Expect:
- Weapons to add to your arsenal of justice.
- Even more grisly fatality moves.
- Strong flashbacks into intense special missions, allowing you to engage as Alex Murphy before the transition to RoboCop. That is a world first in video game history.
Play Styx: Blades of Greed — Stealth and Sticky Fingers on your PC
Like to sneak around in the shadows? Fortunately, you will not be disappointed. Styx, the master goblin thief, is returning in Styx: Blades of Greed, also from Cyanide Studio. Due out in Fall 2025, it looks to be more classic Styx action with:
- Multiple open-ended environments ideal for sneaky exploration and creative takedowns.
- An expansive volume of powers and tools to subvert your enemies and escape from tight spots.
- A number of ways to get the job done — be as devious or as straightforward as you like.
The goal? The Azure Eye, a rare craftable. Sounds like a job for a goblin with a penchant for thieving.
Cthulhu is Calling: Double Dose of Cosmic Horror
Grab your sanity, Lovecraft fans. NACON Connect had two new Cthulhu-themed games.
Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss – Explore the Depths of Madness
Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is from Big Bad Wolf, the team behind The Council and Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong. This first-person thriller/investigative adventure casts you as Noah, an agent for Ancile – a secret occult division of Interpol. Coming next year, you are going to be investigating:
- The secretive disappearance of miners in the deeps of the Pacific ocean.
- A journey that will take you to the nightmare, labyrinthine prison of R’lyeh, the sunken city where the dark god Cthulhu himself is said to lie hidden.
Cooperative Horror in Underground City — The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu
If you'd rather confront cosmic terrors in the company of friends, then ACE Team's (Clash, Zeno Clash) The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is for you. This upcoming first-person cooperative horror game, due later this year, features you playing as:
- Conquistadors traveling through the jungle to find a fabled underground city said to contain incredible wealth.
- A team that must question their sanity and trust one another to survive the horrors that lie ahead.
You will need teamwork to survive this one.
Hell Is Us - Mysteries in a Weird Place
Finally, we saw more of Rogue Factor's intriguing action/adventure game, Hell Is Us, during NACON Connect. Debuting September 4th, the new footage showcased:
- Investigation mechanics that demand mental acuity, deduction, and intuition to advance.
- An enigmatic world to unravel, where you will have to uncover secrets and get to the truth.
