Samsung One UI 7 Stable Release Date & Beta Program Announced Galaxy Update News

Calling all Samsung fans, save the date. The wait for the newest and best from Samsung’s software division is almost finished. We finally have a date for One UI 7 stable release, as well as beta testing news for Galaxy device owners with older models.

One UI 7 Stable Release Scheduled for April 2025

Come April 2025, newly launched devices will amend their dawn with the stable version of One UI 7, their statement revealed. This is the update we have all been waiting for. It brings new Android features along with Samsung's own tweaks in One UI.

Pilot Program Getting Underway for Certain Galaxy Models

The good news does not end there. Also making its debut is a beta version of One UI 7. This will let users of select older devices get a preview and assist in testing the new software. Here’s the first rollout plan:

First Stage

The beta will be first accessible for Samsung’s foldable stars, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. It'll be reaching the USA, Korea, India, and Great Britain first. Keep an eye out if you're in one of those regions, as you'll be among the first to own the One UI 7 beta. If you’re somewhere else, don’t panic. Samsung will gradually roll the beta out to all countries in a matter of weeks.

On Tap

After all foldables, the beta update will show on popular Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series and even the entry-level Galaxy A55. Samsung plans to have the beta on these devices by the end of this month.

What to Expect? Features and AI Rumors

The exact list of features One UI 7 will have is still a secret for Samsung. We’re all excited to know what’s new, but all we have so far is a few comments. One UI 7 is almost certainly going to be based on Android 15. That means you'll get all the core improvements from Google's latest OS. Samsung-specific features remain up in the air.

We have also seen stuff related to AI features in One UI 7. Samsung suggested some older devices may have limited access to certain advanced AI capabilities because of processor limitations earlier this year. That means you may still be able to enjoy One UI 7 on an older phone, but some of the latest, greatest AI stuff could be limited to newer, more powerful models.

Keep an eye out for updates as the One UI 7 rollout continues. Exciting times for Samsung Galaxy users.
