Warhorse Studios Plans Future Growth Beyond Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Multiple RPGs in Development

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is not yet on store shelves. However, Warhorse Studios is already cast its eyes on the horizon beyond Bohemia's fields. On the back of buzz for its sequel, the studio is teasing plans for the future. They may emulate the development approach of giants like CD Projekt RED.

Targeting Growth: More Titles in the Pipeline

According to Warhorse Studios' PR representative Tobiash Stolz-Tsville, the studio is not content to be churning out only one enormous RPG at a time. In a recent interview with SxyBiscuit blogger, Stolz-Tsville revealed some exciting long-term plans. Warhorse intends to double its workforce more than twice.

"Right now, we're at about 250," Stolz-Tsville replied. He noted that all of them are now focused on polishing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and creating post-launch content. "But we do want to grow, maybe to 300 people, or maybe more. The idea is to eventually reach the point where we have several game projects in development simultaneously, instead of always working on one 'pony' by itself."

Staying True to Their Roots: RPGs Stay in the Limelight

For those who love Kingdom Come's rich and historically-based role-playing experience, there is relief. Stolz-Tsville also promised that the future of Warhorse is stuck in the RPG genre. They are not going to suddenly switch genres. It seems like we can look forward to more rich, story-oriented worlds from the studio in the coming years.

In the near future, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II players who have been waiting impatiently can expect the initial major patch. Coming soon, the patch is guaranteed to offer more than one thousand fixes and tweaks. Among them, highly requested is finally having the ability to change Henry's haircut.

It's clear that Warhorse Studios has big dreams. After accomplishing success with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it seems well on its way to fulfilling them. The promise of numerous RPG projects from this fantastic studio is certainly something to be thrilled about for the fans of the genre.
