XPG LEVANTE II 360 AIO Liquid Cooler: Upping the Ante in CPU Cooling
XPG is upping the ante with a new liquid cooler. They have just announced the global availability of the LEVANTE II 360 AIO (All-In-One) cooler. It appears to bring some much-needed upgrades.
What's New with the LEVANTE II?
XPG notes that this new design is intended to be quieter and more efficient at cooling than their previous designs. This is always a good thing for builders wanting performance without fan scream. More interestingly, they hint the cost might be greatly reduced. It could be maybe 40% lower than the previous model.
Under the Hood: How It Works
So, what drives the LEVANTE II 360? It comes equipped with:
- A high-performance two-chamber PWM pump.
- A copper cold plate to efficiently draw heat away from your CPU.
- A standard 360mm aluminum radiator.
- Three ARGB fans that can spin up to 2000 RPM to dissipate heat.
XPG claims this setup is capable of supporting a heat output (TDP) of as much as 320W. They also emphasize the quietness. They say a peak of around 29 dB from the fans, but an average that's more of a whisper-quiet 19 dB.
Compatibility and Size
Worried whether it will fit your rig? The LEVANTE II 360 AIO is ready for modern rigs, accommodating:
- Intel Sockets: LGA 1851 and LGA 1700
- AMD Sockets: AM4 and AM5
In terms of size, the radiator itself is 396mm x 120mm x 27mm. This is rather typical for a 360mm AIO.
Coming Soon (Price TBD)
The XPG LEVANTE II 360 AIO will be arriving on the world stage sooner rather than later. While XPG is hyping up that tantalizing price drop from the last generation, they have not officially announced the final price yet. Keep your ears open if you are searching for one of these very worthwhile liquid coolers.
