The exciting news comes straight from someone very close to Kojima and his team: Geoff Keighley. He shared a photo of himself alongside Hideo Kojima on his X (formerly Twitter) account and couldn't resist leaving a hint of what he has been up to.
"week I'll be in Tokyo for several days in a row gaming Death Stranding 2. More details on that on May 8," Keighley posted.
What to Expect on May 8th
So what does this imply to us It appears that Kojima Productions has issued an invitation to a few media and content creators, like Geoff, to play hands-on the next game everyone has been eagerly anticipating. They have a few hours to enjoy the world and gameplay.
Most importantly, set your reminders! As Keighley described in their announcement, their first impressions, reactions, and official previews will be live online on May 8th. That is where we can expect a flood of new information and information about what Death Stranding 2 is actually like to play.

Although the primary emphasis is on the May 8th previews, the initial information presented also stated a possible release date. That source indicated that the complete release of Death Stranding 2 is scheduled for June 26th on PlayStation 5.
