Adding to Yoshida's confusion is Nintendo's announcement of a paid "Welcome Tour" for the Switch 2. This initiative, to showcase the console's features, costs $10. Yoshida finds this perplexing from his insider perspective. He believes introducing players to a new console's capabilities should be easily accessible, ideally free. Charging for a "welcome" experience seems like a misstep.
Switch 2 on the Horizon: Price and Launch
