LG Introduces the Smart Monitor Swing with Wheels
LG appears to have read your mind. They've just introduced a brand-new concept: the LG Smart Monitor Swing. This brings a way you could just roll your monitor to wherever you needed it in the room, without fighting with cables or furniture.
This isn't your standard desk monitor. What makes it stand out here is its unique stand, with a long leg and wheels. This innovative setup lets you roll the monitor around your room easily. It is only restricted by the length of the power cord. It's designed for convenience and flexibility right out of the box.
Features That Go Beyond Mobility
In addition to its roll-around capability, the Smart Monitor Swing brings some quality display hardware. You'll have more than enough space for desktop activity with the 31.5-inch IPS display providing rich 4K resolution. An external power supply is located in the bottom of the base stand for neatness.
And getting around is just the beginning. With it installed, you've complete control of whether and how much you swivel, turn or tilt. You can also adjust its tilt, spin it left or right, and even switch seamlessly between widescreen (landscape) mode and a tall vertical (portrait) view. That kind of flexibility makes it easy to use for everything from watching movies to editing documents or looking at vertically-oriented content.
Smart Features for Entertainment and Work
Like other smart monitors, the Swing runs on LG's popular webOS operating system. That is a huge plus because it gives you access to a plethora of apps directly on the monitor. So you don't always need to plug it into a PC to stream shows, surf the web, or have productivity software at your fingertips. It's a standalone entertainment and productivity hub. It has built-in speakers for sound.
Availability Still Undetermined
So, when and how will you get your hands on this intelligent screen. Alas, those details are still in the safe. LG has not revealed the price or the launch date of the Smart Monitor Swing yet. We will have to keep waiting for more.
