Open the Razr Ultra and you're greeted by a magnificent 7.0-inch inner AMOLED display. This screen is rich, HDR10+ compatible, handles 10-bit color, and offers a wonderfully fluid refresh rate of up to 165Hz thanks to LTPO tech. Need to peek at data with the phone closed The external 4.0-inch pOLED cover display is no slouch either, refreshing up to 165Hz and getting extremely bright at 3,000 nits peak.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the Razr Ultra is driven by the speedy Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, aided by a large 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage capacities are ample, with 512GB or a staggering 1TB (the 1TB is however only on Motorola's site).

Camera action is a prime focus of the experience, and the Razr Ultra does not disappoint with a trio of three 50MP cameras. Two of the high-res lenses – the primary and an ultrawide that can do macro shots – are situated in handy close proximity to the cover screen. Artificial intelligence is part of the Razr Ultra experience. Motorola is highlighting "moto ai" with practical recommendations like Catch Me Up, Pay Attention, and Remember This. You can even summon the Gemini assistant from the cover screen, and an AI key allows one-touch access to moto ai features anywhere. The "Look and Talk" feature allows hands-free use of moto ai when the phone is in stand or tent mode – so cool.
Pricing and Where to Get One
The Razr Ultra's premium pricing comes as no surprise from a flagship phone. The starting model that comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage costs $1,300 in the US. The price for the 1TB model is yet to be announced, though it will also be available for purchase online from Motorola's site alone.
For residents of the United States, pre-ordering for the Motorola Razr Ultra can start May 7th via Best Buy, Amazon.com, and motorola.com. Release is scheduled to happen on May 15th.
Something more conventional The more standard Razr and Razr+ units were also dropped by Motorola for $700 and $1,000, respectively. Those too will likely stick to the same timeline as the Ultra.
