Redmi TV X (2025) Launches in China with Jaw-Dropping 288Hz Game Mode
Good news for those in China looking for a new and flexible TV. Redmi has just released their new Redmi TV X (2025) series. In sizzling sizes – 55, 65, 75, and a whopping 85 inches – these TVs seem to hit the sweet spot for both hardcore game players and movie enthusiasts. And Redmi is also boasting their amazing energy efficiency.
Picture & Performance That Stands Out
All the models in the range feature a sharp 4K resolution (that is, 3840x2160 pixels). What's truly getting people's attention, though, is the refresh rate: you typically receive a silky-smooth 144Hz, but switch to game mode and it jumps to an incredible 288Hz. Color-wise, you can look forward to accuracy with a claimed ΔE≈2 and 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
What powers them. An ARM processor with Cortex-A73 CPUs and a Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. You also have sufficient 4GB of RAM and plenty 64GB of internal storage to hold apps and content.
Prepare for Gaming and Cinema
Far from just falling short at displaying a great view. These TVs come preinstalled with features to deliver an exceptional audio-visual experience:
- Facility for thrilling visuals with Dolby Vision.
- Immersive sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology.
- Gaming smoother with AMD FreeSync Premium.
Connectivity is also well supported. You'll have HDMI 2.1 ports with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) capabilities perfect for gaming consoles, along with HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 ports. You'll also have an optical audio output, Ethernet, and AV ports, along with new wireless features like Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. A little bonus. Redmi says these TVs are very power efficient, using only 0.5W in standby.
Pricing in China
As of now, the Redmi TV X (2025) series is pre-orderable in China only. Here's a breakdown of the pricing:
- 55-inch model: Around $308 USD
- 65-inch model: Around $392 USD
- 75-inch model: Around $504 USD
