Intel China has announced that preorders for the Core Ultra 200 non-K series CPUs will begin today, with a launch date of January 13th. This release will introduce brand-new 65W and 35W models.
While the initial marketing material featured images of “unlocked” variants, causing some confusion, the official announcement clarifies that the new CPUs are indeed non-K models. The CPUs will be sold through the JD platform via Intel's official store.
The launch of the Core Ultra 200 series will coincide with the introduction of new B860 and H810 consumer motherboards. Notably, there's no mention of preorders for these motherboards, so users may need to opt for more expensive Z890 boards or wait for the B860 and H810 boards to become available.
