A South Korean e-commerce platform, Danawa, has listed the Intel Core Ultra 3 205, an 8-core desktop CPU codenamed "Arrow Lake", confirming its existence and imminent release. This will be the entry-level offering for Intel's next-generation desktop platform.

Danawa, a popular platform for comparing electronics prices and specifications, recently published an article that included the entire Core Ultra 200 series lineup, including unreleased models. Intel is expected to officially launch these new processors soon, with the Chinese division suggesting a January 13th date.

Core Ultra 3 205 Details

The Core Ultra 3 205 appeared in a specifications table that included K-series unlocked CPUs, KF versions (unlocked without integrated graphics), and non-K models, which Intel is expected to focus on for its CES 2025 launch. While the table lacks detailed specifications, it does indicate that the Core Ultra 3 205 is “scheduled for release.” Leaks point to a configuration of 4 performance (P) and 4 efficiency (E) cores, totaling 8 cores.

Other leaked information suggests that the Core Ultra 5 235 will be a 6P+8E model with a boost clock of up to 5.0 GHz. Bapco CrossMark test results have also leaked, including various models, like 235T and the flagship Arrow Lake-H model 285H.

New CPUs and Entry-Level Platforms

Intel's upcoming lineup includes at least seven new desktop CPUs, with the 235 and 205 models aimed at the lower end of the market. The pricing of these CPUs, along with the launch of B860 and H810 motherboards for the new LGA-1851 platform, will reveal the true entry point for Intel's Arrow Lake architecture.
